Fees: $100 (non-members), $90 (PRNSA members)
Description: Come practice seeing the world in a different way. Capture unique images by placing yourself in the subject’s world, be it a pebble, flower, lizard or budding plant. Understand how low angles can drastically change the look of your scenes, and learn about techniques on how to deal with macro, wide angle, and even telephoto photography at ground level. This class is open to all levels, appropriate for digital photographers, best for beginning and intermediate students, but all levels are welcome. Also open to youth (age 15-17) with attending adult.
From Sean’s vast knowledge and experience, to his inspiring work and power-packed presentations, beginning and amateur photographers will come away inspired and with new tools to improve their skills and stretch their photographic imaginations.
What to Bring: Camera equipment (DLSR is a must, macro lens and tripod is a nice option), extra memory card and card reader (optional), and don’t forget to recharge your batteries. Please bring comfortable hiking or walking shoes, a bag lunch, and a warm jacket and hat. Join us for a wonderful day of learning and camaraderie amidst the California coast.
